Forward Sioux Falls made its first investment in infrastructure in the fourth program by creating the South Dakota Technology Business Center. After 11 years of operation, the business incubator has been a huge success, assisting entrepreneurs in establishing companies that provide high-skill, high-wage jobs. Investors have an opportunity to repeat that success by supporting Foundation Park and the USD Discovery District, two programs that will show short-term returns on investments that we´ll see in the next five years and long-term benefits for future generations.
Foundation Park is an 820-acre planned industrial park under development by the Sioux Falls Development Foundation. The site is located in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of interstates 29 and 90. The park is served by BNSF railway and offers contiguous sites ranging from five acres to 390 acres.
