Forward Sioux Falls Supports USF English Outreach

Forward Sioux Falls is now partnering with the University of Sioux Falls to support the Bridges program. Bridges is an English Language Outreach Program for adults in the Sioux Falls community. It is hosted by the University of Sioux Falls and funded in collaboration with Forward Sioux Falls. Bridges English courses integrate reading, writing, listening and speaking practice for those who wish to increase their overall English proficiency. Jeff Griffin is pictured with the Bridges Advanced English class, whose students are from Colombia, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and Egypt. Beyond supporting their English proficiency, Forward Sioux Falls aims to connect students with employment opportunities that will allow these talented individuals to excel professionally and personally in the United States. Some of these students hold medical, engineering, teaching, and other professional degrees from their country of origin and are either immigrants or individuals working here on temporary visas.
